Lakefield properties in particular are close to the Gautrain, R21 and R24 highways as well as the 'buzz' of the East Rand. Property for sale in Akasia

Akasia (Orchards & Ext) - Gauteng

Akasia propertiesAkasia is the area located just to the North-West of central Pretoria. Approximately 10-15km's outside of Centurion, this diverse area is only a short drive from the Kruger House Museum, Pretoria Zoo, the South African State Theatre and Loftus Versfeld Stadium. Akasia is the ideal location for a family with multiple interests that don't necessarily aline and includes the following suburbs within the area, The Orchards & Ext, Theresapark, Amandasig, Karenpark, Ninapark, Chantelle, Clarina and Akasia specific.

The Orchards & Ext in particular is seeing large residential development as there is a huge demand for first time buyers in the market, proving to be highly popular due to its affordability. Located on the far urban edge with lots of room for expansion, this area has been witness to quick development over the last five years. Whether buyers are looking at being closer to the Pretoria North property area or closer to the CBD, this area seems to cater to their needs. Most properties in the area have 2 or 3 bedrooms and are in the 400-500 thousand Rand property bracket. The Booysens area has significantly benefited from the flow from Orchards. A well established suburb, a large number of buyers in the area are public servants with families. For the buyers with a little more money to spend, there are 4 bedroom homes available in the area, although developers have been buying up such properties due to a gap in the market. A typical pattern is that the developers will demolish the existing home and subdivide land across a few plots, then build units and sell them in a similar price margin.

As the prices are market related, the newly developed units often find ready buyers.

I've highlighted a few properties available for sale in the area below:
Akasia properties
This lovely 3 bedroom house, includes an open plan kitchen and lounge area and has 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom includes an en suit. It has a great yard and 1 parking place. (This calculation assumes an 8.5% interest rate over a 20 year period and No deposit - same as the calculations below).

Akasia propertiesStunning pool right? Well, this 3 bedroom home also features 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room, family/TV room, 1 garage, the garden and of course, the lovely pool shown alongside. It has a pricetag of R 790 000, therefore the approximate bond cost of this house is R 6 855p/m.

Akasia properties
If you're looking for simple and convenient, I just found it. A 2 bedroom apartment, this unit is a perfect investment for residential living. With 1 bathroom, (modern and well maintained), the complex also offers a pool and play park for the residents as well as braai facilities. If security is your concern with living here, you'll have an electric gate, 24-hour security response, burglar bars, a guard house & guard, electric fencing and a perimeter wall. With a pricetag of R 479 000, your approximate bond cost is R 4 156p/m. Click here to take a further look at this Akasia property.

Akasia properties
This 3 bedroom home features a well developed garden, drive through (so space for 2 cars), tiled floors, the main bedroom has a full bathroom as well as 1 other, and there's a small study space. The bedrooms include built-in cupboards. There is a spacious open plan living area and modern kitche. The house has a pricetag of a competitive R600 000 for what it has to offer. The approximate bond cost is R 5 206p/m.

Akasia propertiesThe last property I have to display (for now) is this very modern 3 bedroom home. 2 bathrooms, of which one is en-suite, a lounge, open plan kitchen, and very neat and easy to maintain garden make this arguably a winner for the whole family. Classy and elegant.

property24
As mentioned in my previous post, finding a place to live or rent is often a tedious task. It involves effective planning and capital, but it also has to suit your needs and the lifestyle that you'd like to live. Finding a house can turn into a full time job and often people do not have the time to go through the process. It's then understandable that people look for resources online to help them look for a new property.
To make this process easier for you, today I've created a list of properties for sale in areas around the Gauteng province, South Africa below. I hope you find some use from this list and manage to find the ideal home for you and your family - I've included a description for each area and will create a page for each province in South Africa in coming weeks, with links to properties in each suburb. My aim is to first help you find the area that suits you and then point you to the properties in that area.
